Terms and Conditions

These terms govern access to the TravelSafePilot website, services, reports, platform features, and approved partner or API integrations.

Legal entity: TravelSafePilot (Pty) Ltd. By accessing or using TravelSafePilot, you agree to these terms and to any additional policies, usage rules, or commercial agreements that apply to your access.

1. Service scope

TravelSafePilot provides structured situational awareness, safety context, mapping outputs, and related digital services. It may include consumer access, community and operator features, partner access, and controlled API or integration capabilities.

2. No emergency-service guarantee

In any urgent situation, users must contact the appropriate official responders directly. TravelSafePilot supports information awareness and does not guarantee intervention or outcomes.

3. Reporting conduct

Users must not knowingly submit false, misleading, malicious, unlawful, defamatory, or privacy-invasive reports. TravelSafePilot may limit, moderate, remove, or refuse content or access where misuse, risk, or abuse is suspected.

4. Availability and changes

Features, routes, plans, capabilities, and interfaces may change, be improved, be restricted, or be withdrawn as the platform evolves. TravelSafePilot may introduce release gates, access reviews, and staged rollout controls.

5. Platform outputs

TravelSafePilot aims to provide calm, structured, and useful intelligence, but outputs may be incomplete, delayed, generalised, inferred, or unavailable. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and operational judgement.

6. Acceptable use

You may not abuse the platform, probe for vulnerabilities, interfere with service integrity, scrape restricted content, automate unauthorised extraction, reverse engineer protected systems where prohibited, or use the platform to facilitate unlawful harm.

7. API, developer, and integration access

API access may require approval, agreement, and provisioning. Credentials, tokens, and keys must be kept secure and confidential. Access may be limited by rate, geography, environment, product lane, or commercial agreement.

8. Billing, subscriptions, and passes

Paid access, subscriptions, passes, gifts, shared plans, and enterprise agreements are governed by the applicable commercial terms, checkout terms, and refund policy.

9. Intellectual property

The platform, branding, software, documentation, layouts, structured outputs, and underlying systems remain protected intellectual property unless explicitly licensed otherwise.

10. Privacy and data handling

Use of the platform is also subject to the Privacy and Cookies pages. TravelSafePilot may process reports, platform telemetry, account data, integration data, and operational metadata in line with platform function, security, legal obligations, and governance.

11. Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravelSafePilot disclaims liability for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or reliance-based losses arising from unavailable data, delayed outputs, routing decisions, third-party actions, service interruptions, or interpretation of platform signals.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TravelSafePilot (Pty) Ltd, its operators, suppliers, affiliates, and service providers from claims, costs, or losses arising from misuse, unlawful conduct, submissions, or breach of these terms.

13. Enforcement and account action

TravelSafePilot may investigate misuse and may warn, throttle, suspend, terminate, refuse access, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests where necessary to protect users, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

14. Governing framework

These terms are intended to operate within applicable law and commercial practice. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect to the fullest extent permitted. Specific enterprise, partner, or integration relationships may also be governed by additional written agreements.
